move pictures in my cell phone to my laptop via a USB cable

Indeed there is a way that you can do this.

But, depending on what the photos are then the easiest way would be to go to a photo place that has one of those machines that develop photos off phones and have them developed there.

(most photo-shops) and WalMart if you are in the US and most Boots and Clicks and Morrison’s if you are in the UK have these available.

If this is not an option then what you need to do is to get the data cable that came with your phone and connect your phone to your laptop. Your laptop will go through an installation process. (you might need to use the CD that came with your phone) once this is done then click on my computer on your laptop and select the “F Drive” of it might say “G Drive” select the one the is for your phone and open it you will see a list of folders.

I don’t know which folder your pictures will be in but it might be Media. Perhaps the best thing to do is just to look in all the folders until you find the one with your pictures in then click on one and then press and hold

“ctrl” plus the “A” buttons together on your keyboard and it will select all the pictures then right click your mouse button or click on your right mouse button if your mouse is built into the laptop and select

This will transfer the pictures from your phone to your laptop

Step one: Connect the cell phone to your laptop.

Step two: Open the device (it should have an icon on your laptop) as a window on your computer.

Step three: Highlight the files you want to copy to your laptop by dragging your mouse over them.

Step four:

Drag & drop the selected files to your desktop window.
