Can someone help me with Photoshop CS3 Extended?

Well I have Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended. I just got it recently.

I use it a lot but now I did a cut-out. I haven’t done it before but I did the cut-out pretty good.

Afterwards, I wanted to put the pic on a different background that i have saved to my computer.

How do I do that? I’m not sure how you’re supposed to get the pic from Photoshop and put on the background or get the background to Photoshop and put it behind the pic..

Or if there’s just a totally different process that needs to be done?

Help?

Hi,

You should be able to open a whole new image in photoshop (Open –> New) and then, insert the background you want.

Then, create a new layer and select it. Once the new layer is selected, paste the cutout on it.

The trick is the layer :)

Good luck.
