Just got my drivers permit, any tips?
HEY GUYS I GOT MY PERMIT AND I AM SO HAPPY AND IS ANY ONE ELSE HAPPY FOR ME???PLEASE TELL ME AND IF YOU HAVE ANY TIPS ON ME DRIVING I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR THEM!!!11
Just be safe and look out for the other drivers. They will do stupid stuff like pulling out in front of you and then slamming on brakes.
Of course, always keep your eyes on the road. One second can make a lot of difference.
Don’t talk on a cell phone or try nto put on make-up while driving.
Stay on your side. If you ever DO run off the road, don’t try to jerk the car back on too quickly. Just ease back on carefully. Jerking it back on can cause you to wreck. The best thing is to know where to line your car up so that you’re on your side of the road and it will become second nature to you soon. I think that you line up the middle of the hood (a hood ornament) with the right side of the road. That’s how I remember it. (I’ve been driving for 40 years so my memory is probably not that great, lol). You probably learned all that in training anyway
Just pay attention.
Please, please - pay attention at all times to your No 1 job in that car - DRIVE the car - in others words, don’t allow distractions (friends acting crazy in the car, a friend across the street waving, Don’t get distracted - No 2, expect that other driver to do the wrong thing (no turn signal but turns in front, etc) - be defensive, not paranoid - bottom line: ‘Maintain Awareness’ at al times and Do Not speed !!…Take care !!
Congratulations !! Please-be careful out there. oh, and hide your cell phone from yourself. My own driving pet peeve - how hard is it to use the blinkers?
Tips no. . .But thanks for the warning.
Just kidding. . . Congrads. . .
always get on the lane your going to end up with dont b switchin lanes a lot although your drivers ed says otherwise do it in front of them to pass but dont do it much because dats how accidents happen! I was in one like that! it was tramatizing!
…just get on the road and drive, make sure you have a licensed driver with you though.
dont go beyond your limit, practice makes you good!
Dont get pulled over on the way home..Not a good time…
