Yes they do however they are extremely dangerous chemicals that can really burn and damage your scalp and hair follicles so I would suggest going to a salon to get it done first so you can get the jist of what to do. And they are not actually permanent its like hair color you have to do it every other month or so depending on your hair type. To get a relaxer I usually go to an ethnic hair salon because the last time I went to a lord and ladies the lady not only jacked it up but she charged me 150 ethnic places specialize in it and only charge like 70. Also if u decide to do it don’t wash your hair for 48 to 72 hours and also don’t scratch your scalp. A relaxer burns a lot the first time but the more you do it the less it hurts.
