Period causes pain in legs

Is this normal? When I get my periods, my legs hurt. As in they get tired very easily. If I walk or move or excercise as much as I do when I dont get my period, then my thighs and calves hurt. Do other women have this problem too??

I don’t think it’s a common one but never the less probably not something to be worried about. If you really are worried though make doctors appointment. Good luck.

I started to get pain in my thighs around my period and they now last for at least 14 days. Ihave some abdomen pain. I have been tested for everything. Dr suspects adenomyosis or maybe endo. The pain can range from nagging to unbearable. It can be unbearable around day 10 to ovulation. I take naproxen and it does help after awhile. There are some days or some awful pain the naproxen doesn’t help. I have tried acupucture, organic and natural food diets - anything and everything. I think high quality green tea has helped. This pain began at age 35. The pain completely stopped when I was pregnant. It is back againand I can’t seem to get pregnant.

I’m 40 years old, and that has been my chief complaint since I was 13. I’ve never in my life had the cramps and stomach pains you usually hear about, but the front and sides of my thighs throb. I’ve litterly just sat down and continually punched my legs as hard as I could because they hurt so bad, I figure maybe it will just give it a different kind of pain. I haven’t found any kind of medicine that helps, but sometimes I’ll put ice bags on…again, it doesn’t really help, just gives a different kind of pain to focus on.
