Why am I having another period 5 days later?

Since i read in Irene’s comment that your 14, it is normal. I started at 10, and I still have irregular periods.

it takes a bit for a period to really regulate. remember, you have a period 12 times a year for a regular period. i do, but mines only 3 days long. if you are really concerned, go to a doctor and ask them. im sure its nothing to really worry about :3

Your hormones are being bratty and rebellious =D happens to me too though. At this age our hormones go crazy anyway, not to mention stress and bad diets don’t help, so the “monthly” schedule takes awhile to kick in. sigh so annoying. Vitamin B5 and kefir are both supposed to help balance out hormones. (a friend of mine is on birth control just to regulate her periods, but I would NOT recommend that because as soon as you get off it things usually get worse)

Cause you’re yound and your horomones are outta whack, I get mine like every 3 months and when I do get it I get it for a long time, my last one lasted 18 days:/ I went to the doctor and they said they’d like to wait another year and if it was still happening that I may have to be put on a low dose of birth control..my sister has to use birth control cause she had hers like every other week… and you may have to too. After you have been having your period for about a year or two you might want to go to the doctor (if this is still happening) and maybe get put on birth control or something…
