Why do so many people seem to think video games are antisocial even though they are extremely social now especially when I play online?

Yeah good point. But I play sports and i pick sports over video games but I like playing video games with friends when we are face to face either taking turns playing and talking with them. It is awesome. I hate the stereotypes even if sometimes they are true with some people which is just sad.

I know but some kids don’t go out at all…its like my youngest cousin he just sits in his room all day playing on CoD sometimes he might go round his neighbours but thats it, its good for you though because you’re not antisocial as you go out playing sports ect with your friends.

Social is face to face contact. You probably won’t be able to develop very good social skills if you stay inside all the time playing video games, online or not. Don’t let life pass you by, you should do things in “real world”, too.

i use pub servers cus its like your in a pub with your mates and most maps are set outside anyway so not only are you talking to ppl but your also getting fresh air and the view of the countryside

That is truthful you do get interaction with friends but what about people who don’t play? You need to spend time offlineto be with them as well.
