why do people tattoo the white parts of there eyes?

Huh, i didnt know that was even possible. but probably because its a new trend ( i think) and they wanna be cool or show how tough they are.

Its just another way for people to express themselves. I personlly wont judge a person for tattooing their eyes since i myself have many visable tattoos, however its something i would never do. My eyesight is to important and it only takes one mistake to ruin that for the rest of your life…a tattoo on my eyeball isnt worth risking being blind. To each their own though.

Its no more “nasty” than any other body mod. I am a huge fan of body mod, and I put no one down for any that they do. I personally would not do this, but there are people out ther who enjoy it. Why do you enjoy driving a bmw over a honda? Why is your favorite color red? Why do you dress the way you do? Because its something you enjoy. It has nothing to do with a trend or trying to be cool. People who get tattoos live in a sub culture of understandment where they are very well informed that tattoos are perminent, and would NEVER go with a trend on something like that. Especially of the eye, its a hard core, die hard ink fanatic who just loves what they represent. Its a passion and a love.

I looked into that a bit because I was curious of the same thing and alot of tattoo parlors refuse to tattoo the white part of ones eye because there is a super high percentage that have eye troubles afterwards ex: going blind.
