Answer #1

Answer #2

Well Russians are the same as Americans besides well their Russian….

Answer #3

Okay I wasn’t categorizing people I never do that I ask before I judge so thank you and have a nice day. :) Someone told me and I told them I don’t believe that EVERY person there is violent or rude, because there are tons of rude people in every country and every little part of the world. And there are nice people too, just didn’t know about Russia because I haven’t been thinking about the country much until a week from now.

Answer #4

i sense a little hostilityso chill. and i definently will have a nice day! if you dont want a real opinion dont ask a question where your gnna get one and to say you never do that i dont believe you

Answer #5

I lived there for a 6 month period in the capital, Moscow. There is certainly a good amount of violence, but it tends to not be random. That is, the guys shooting at and killing each other are doing it for business and/or political reasons.

I suggest you stay in St. Petersburg and go in the summer. Beautiful and the people are more “artsy” and generally nicer than the folks in Moscow. Think Southern folks vs. New Yorkers. No knock on New Yorkers–I lived there for a bunch of years and love the city but you folks aren’t as nice as my peeps in North and South Carolina.

Answer #6

this is stereotyping question, e.g., “Are the people of USA fat people?”

there are as many “violent” in big cities such as Moscow and St.Pitersburg, as in all urban centers.

What part of Russia you wanna visit btw? coz it’s huge country, you know )

Answer #7

Moscow and st. Peterburg and a emailer city in there

Answer #8

smaller cities of russia? what for? ) they are not cosy. I’d recommend you to visit some other cities in Eastern Europe, instead “small russian cities”, but I guess visiting so many places would simply exhaust you.

Answer #9

so if you really going to visit these places - Moscow and St. Petersburg would be totally enough. you know, big cities, bunch of impressions

Answer #10

I know what your talking about and I live here in North Carolina born and raised. People down here are pretty much down to earth and very religious. There are a lot of Methodist and Baptist churches. The downside of it is there are a lot of Masonic lodges which I do not approve of that much. Russia when it was communist was a very violent socialistic place people cold find no hope in. These days Russia is not that way because they have a leader who cares for all the people of Russia.
