I did not know this until now, I have learned something today. I guess it’s because people don’t take the time to look into these sort of facts. Either that or they just didn’t care much.

No one really thinks about it much. Not really much of a big deal to modern society because they don’t got to pickle the cucumbers to get pickles! :D

Because very few people grow up around farmland anymore and even then if they don’t take an interest they wont pay attention
