Why don't people google their questions, then when they can't find the information they need, refer to this site?

Well we need a sister site called stupid questions, that could be real fun, I have tons of stupid answers.

lol, there are questions that just makes you want to go ‘duh!’

Because google doesn’t pay you.

Some questions are more of an opinion thing than a concrete answer and I think for a lot of people its easier than googling as everyone does the work for you.

Yes, I hate to work, lol, I can understand having a need for another opinion.

I think google is a very good search engine but FA’s members’ answers are more personal (the answers may not always be factual but there is a human side to the answers). ….Some times questions can be easily googled, but unfortunately some people ask questions just for the sake of askings questions. I have read some answers from members who give great advices and seem to know a lot, but then they go and post questions of their own, which makes you immediately stop and think, “hold on, this person gives a lot of advices but somehow don’t know the answers to their own simple questions”??

They want to get their answers pretty fast, so they don’t want to search through the lists of Google for answers, and rather come to this website which is easier to get answers and have a wide range of opinions for them to ponder on.
