Why do so many people have a fear of clowns?

because of batman!!!!

Because Quite Alot Of Scary Movies Have Scary Clowns And Therefore people See Clowns As Scary..

Well I am terrified of clowns, and truthfully I don’t know exactly what it is, but the paint seems to distort the face and the nose doesn’t help make them any less creepy -_- besides, their giant smiles make them look like they are ready to go on a killing spree or something O_o

I have this total deathly fear of clowns…idk just ever since i was young. idk just do they are terrible

Maybe Because Of Something That Happend In Their Childhood.

Because you can’t see under the face paint, they are suppose to be nice friendly characters but because of there appearance they are very creepy. Like for example im not scare of them but i think they are ugly w@nkers to be frank, they are just not pleasant. But some people fear them because of psychological problems, past problems. We all have fears i guess clowns is just one that is common.

Because…they all float. I had to write that for those who have seen the movie xD But seriously, I think it’s because of the permanent manic grin and the psychotic way in which they act. All in all a creepy, creepy, thing :P

Because clowns are the scariest things on the planet…simple as that.
