What does it mean when people say "She looks like the Amazon"?

usaully amazon is slang for an abnormaly tall woman.

It could be that along with being a rather big girl, she has a tough attitude as well.

I think they mean as in Amazonian women? “Beside the land of Chaldea is the land of Amazonia, that is the land of Feminye. And in that real is all woman and no man; not as some may say, that men may not live there, but for because that the women will not suffer no men amongst them to be their sovereigns.” Amazonian women are strong, powerful warrior-women. They are independent and don’t rely on men. So in making that statement, people mean she looks masculine like a warrior.

I agree with others stating that she is extremly beautiful.. Implying she is stands tall and is breath taking, but honestly who really knows what people mean ..lols

An amazon refers to a tall beautiful and exotic woman. I have never heard it said in a bad way.

I always thought Amazons were somewhat brutish and war driven. Also people may be referring to their breasts looking uneven lol.
