Why do some people have 22 or 20 points even though we all have 25 poins when we sign up?
I think when u ask a question and it gets put into status update section u lose points

how is that possible if you start off with 25, get 3 for asking a question and your points raise to 28, lose the 3 you asked for asking a question as it got moved to status and end up back with 25?
the answer is on this and all other question pages and if i may: ‘Poor or unhelpful answers may cause you to lose points’
You’re right Matty…however…sometimes a question is recategorized before it gets moved to status…so…..if someone asks a question in a category that is worth 2 points, they now have 27 points. If that question gets moved to a category worth 3 points, they don’t receive the extra point, so they still have 27 points. Now that question gets moved to status, so they lose the 3 points from the category it’s in, leaving them with 24 points….make sense now? :)
