How can I convince my parents that he's changed?

My ex of 8-9 months wants to get back with me and i am willing to make it work but my parents wont let my see him at all,I have realized that they hate him because he hurt me so many times in the past.but i have for gave him and willing to move on. Please tell me how i could convince my parents that he has changed and he wont break my heart again

You wont , my mate is same as you , but she is with her boyfriend, her parents hate himand always will, do what you feel is wright for you ,look after yourself an do what makes you happy , after all you cant please every body , just remember its your life , of course they love you and want to protect you, but it IS your life x
