Which is better - the original Footloose or the new remake?

I am going to have a “Footloose” night… where I will watch both versions. I have not seen the original, I hear good things, but the new one looks awesome

I just seen the trail of it personally looks not too good. That’s just my opinion most kids didn’t even know about this movie till now. Hollywood should just leave some movies alone just saying.

LOl iv loved footloose every since i was a kid. From watching the trail looks like just another movie of kids humping each other just saying. Kevin Bacon did such an awesome job in footloose no one can dance like him.

Everyone knows that Footloose (original) is the best. The Footloose (new) is a joke. I don’t care how good the acting is. You can’t have footloose without Kevin Bacon. That’s like Dirty Dancing without Patrick S. or Grease without John T. You just can’t do it.
