Okay, so I have a two questions::
--How much does it generally cost for one person to go to Japan? [Plane, living, ect.] --What are some Japanese culture things that I should know before going?
A couple thousand dollars, I guess. If you want first class seating on the plane it's more, you know.
"culture things"? I don't understand what that means, but here are some "rules": -DON'T point at ANYTHING with chopsticks, like food, people, etc. It's really rude. -try to "blend in" with crowds by wearing neutrals. I heard this in a book. I think it's because if you stand out and stuff, you probably get robbed more. But I don't know, honestly. -stay in a group with some peeps you know. (for obvious reasons.) -some Japanese people are scared of Americans. My relatives in Japan told me that they're scared of us because we have weapons in the military. I don't know!
well I've never actually been to japan but I have studied the language and culture for a few years. All the Japanese people I know are quite polite and reserved and from what I have gathered from the language, they dont like saying no directly so if you ask someone something and they say something like they'll try etc, they probably mean no! People I know who have been to Japan said they got the impression eating in public was frowned apon. Ooooh major thing you might like to know, lots of public toilets dont actually have toilet paper!
