That’s a very serious situation there. Lots of risks involved in prostitution and the world that surrounds it. This question is very hard to answer. I have more questions than answers.

Are you sure? Does your cousin know that you know? How old is your cousin? How would her parents react if you told them? Do you know what reasons your cousin may have to take this path? Are there narcotics involved? Because drugs mess up judgement and priorities, among other things. Can you talk to your cousin about this? Would the embarrassment of exposure be enough to make her/him stop?

I know nobody wants to be a rat, but this may be too big for you to handle. You might should tell her parents or yours and let them get involved. Don’t be afraid of alienating your cousin. Sometimes that has to happen, but time heals all wounds. If your cousin hates you for a while, but comes to see the error of her/his ways, s/he will forgive you eventually for doing what you could to help.

Its good you’re concerned. You should be. I think between your conscience and the fact that you found out, you really have to do something to help your cousin.

It is no ones business regardless of age and all the other characteristics. Just keep your mouth shut if you were not meant to know you are not meant to know. Don’t even confront s/he about it. Let them live their life.
