There’s no clear cut answer for this. It depends on the game and how it uses the OS of the computer. I still have several games that worked on Win95 that I still play on my WinXP computer. I even have a few that still work from Win3.1. It all depends on the game and how it was written. The only way to know for sure is to try it and find out.

One thing you might want to think of is if you have more than one computer, keep one running the old OS that the game runs on and use the Vista computer for everything else
