Will a swollen saliva gland go away?

(in reation to the last question I asked) He went to the doctors and got told he had a swollen saliva gland or something.

I dunno any of the effects of it or anything, but he’s feeling ill at the minute

Can anyone tell me more about it? Is it serious, or does it go away with antibiotics or whatever?

usually swollen salivary glands can go away with anitbiotics. if it doesn’t it might require more medical attention other than medicine.

Has the doctor requested any tests? If it’s just swollen, it should go away soon, but it wouldn’t be a bad idea to rule out more serious possibilities.
