Answer #1

I know some girls taking courses in College, I’m not sure what happens after that but it’s a start.

Answer #2

I don’t know about where you are, but here you’d have to go to college before you can even become a student nurse.

Answer #3

You are considered a “student nurse” when you are actually IN the Nursing Program in college. It depends on what type of nurse you want to be - an LPN or RN -how long you have to go to school. An LPN is usually 1 year in the actual nsg program along with all of your pre-reg’s before hand. you can attend either a JC for nursing or a 4 year college. you can go either 2 or 4 years for your RN- just really depends on how far you want to go (do you want to go on for Physicians Asst or a Nurse Practioner) or just stay as an RN for your career. You can always change your mind later and go back to complete your BS to work in Administration or to go for your Master. The choice is up to u. I would truly suggest working as a Nursing Asst for awhile to see if you like dealing with blood.poop.pee all on a daily basis. Lots of people think RN”s don”t do the grunt work but truth is any good nurse will help their NA because we know that good NA’s are hard to come by and that NA’s are our eyes and ears on the floor when and where we aren’t at and can’t see. Truth is, NA’s are actually with the patients more than the nurses are. Good luck!! [=

Nursing can be defined as “ the noble work which involve in healing and caring of wounded, injured or sick person”. Though the definition do not end here but the above statement contains prime ingredients of definition of nursing.
