Why is it that nowadays, boys look at appearance instead of personality?

Guys are not all like that. your stereotyping. Many of us look only for girls with a good personality. physical appearance has nothing to do with my date choices. i have to know a girl very well before i ask her out. This is of course not to say that physically attractive girls are at a disadvantage, just be nice and be yourself and above all don’t hold all guys to be represented by one or a few jerks. if i though of all girls like my most recent ex i’d be forced to assume that every girl is a crazy, self medicating, self mutilating, phsyco. Every person is unique:) don’t forget that:)

Because, Guys Cant BEEP your Great Perso… I mean most guys want girls that are pretty becaue well their pretty. But Who wants to get to know the beast? Your perso better be like better than everyones, if a guy wants the ugly girl… I know I look at looks first because thats what i like, But If their perso is good thats a plus… You know? But yeah If I got to know a guy and their perso was really great, I’d give them a chance, Even if their not Absolutely adorable… So, i’m sure some guys would get the girl with great personality… And p.s Just Because your pretty Dont Mean your A B**. When girls act like that I think their pretty at all. There is two kinds of pretty, You’ll get the guy if your one of them tho… :D

Because the looks are the first thing they see. If you don’t have a good personality after they get to know you. They will be very sad and won’t be as attracted to you.

It’s not guys nowdays. Guys have been like that forever. As they get older some of them get a clue that there’s more than appearance. But come on, BE REAL, girls also check out guys appearances too!

Basically, we are all attracted physically to certain things. Whether we are interested in finding out if there’s also another turn on other than just physical is up to us each.

A shallow guy doesn’t pay much attention to personality. A shallow girl doesn’t either!

In any case, if you are hot for them but they not for you, don’t waste your time. There’s 6 billion people on the planet! Some of them are really cute and personable!

Yes, just keep telling yourself we’re all not like that giggles. Some of us are self medicating, self injuring and perfectly well adjusted. ^_^

It seems to me that city humans put a lot more priority in unnatural beauty and that country humans tend to be more concerned with a person’s abilities and personality as well as natural beauty. This is a generalization for sure, but there sure seems to be a pattern. And whenever I go to a big city (over 100,000 people) I can tell you there is a vast cultural (not talking racial) differences, to the point that I sometimes feel in a foreign country.

For example, the thought that you shouldn’t have loaded firearms around children. What, do you want them to be eaten by a couger or wolf pack or possibly a bear? Oh you didn’t mean with a firearm in the child’s hands…now you are really talking all kinds of crazy (from my perspective).

So to get back to the point, I think it has a lot more to do with where you live than when you live, how you view people and the world around you.
