New Guitar Advice?

I’m about to upgrade to a newer (actually working) guitar, but I can’t choose one… I like Gibson, Epiphone, Ibanez, Fender, etc. but every time I think about it, I can’t decide. ANY HELP???

Answer #1

go to a guitar center or music store near you and just try out a bunch of them, guessing usually doesnt do that good lol

Answer #2

when I was going to learn guitar- I had my eye on this blaze orange IBANEZ gutiar, I really liked the styling of it, if I were to get a guitar today- it would be an ibanez, really for no particular reason other than the styling.

Answer #3

also if you cant decide do down to the guitar store and have a go at playing them all see how the feel, how heavy they are ect if your comfortalbe holding them and how easy it is to play on them try them all out to get the one thats right for you

Squiers are great for beginners. I have been playing for about 7 years now and currently play an Epiphone Les Paul Studio. It’s great and REALLY tough. Its been dropped a lot and the only thing that happened was a small crack formed but I sanded it down and it turns out the only the paint cracked. Every fall was from about waist high.

But anyways

Squier- great for beginners Fender- pretty much a more expensive squier Epiphone- very tough, cheaper than gibson Gibson- more expensive epiphone Ibanez- can be a great guitar, depending on which one you get.

If you get a cheap ibanez, its going to be crap. I had one and it didnt stay in tune. But my friend has a more expensive one ($400) and its freaking amazing

it really depends on your situation, and your level of playing. if your super good at guitar, than you would already know what you want, so im guessing you’re still a mid-novice player. I would say if you play todays music, then I would say an Ibanez. its an all around good guitar for most rock and heavy rock or metal. and they not too expensive. If money is no option then buy a gibson les paul, or gibson SG or gibson explorer.

Answer #6

id say you should get an ibanez. pretty laid back while your still learning.
