Need ideas for 16th birthday

I’d like to take my son on a trip so we can bond a little but am at a loss of where to go. He likes comedy so was trying to get tickets to Saturday night live in NYC but thats not working, thought maybe an NFL game or perhaps Vegas to see Chris Angel and do some golfing. Anyone have any other ideas? BTW, I’m the mom, not the dad.

What part of golf, Chris angel and hanging by the pool did you guys not read? lol Seriously, there is lots to do there with a teenager. I’m not looking for leverage, just want to spend some time with my son doing things he enjoys. He doesn’t have his license yet, cant get it for another 6 months so a car is not an option.

ya I agree with thedude. I wouldn’t take him to Vegas because I’ve’e been out there and there’s not that much to do with kids. I think the only thing would be the m&m/coke factory and that’s it. everything else is pretty much for adults.

Answer #3

Vegas…well, I wouldn’t take my kids there (friends have, but, I wouldn’t, personally).

For me, the best thing about my 16th was getting my drivers license as I bought my first car a few months prior to learn on…perhaps instead of a trip, if you’re not getting him one, get him a car?

Then for the bonding, you could do something local (let him drive)…and, he’ll be receptive b/c he got something he wanted and you can leverage that to strengthen your relationship with him.

Well what you should do is take him to one of his favorite bands because saturday night live is super CORNY like if he likes ‘’Linkin park’’Take him to a concert and get fat then run a mile so you feel as if you lost a lot of weight then.Buy him an air soft gun.Dudes dig em
