Gosh, I have been on a reading frenzy since HP and then Twilight. These are the books/series that I have found that are AS good, if not better. I loved every second of them: The Hunger Games and its sequel Catching Fire(3rd book due next year) The Mortal Instrument series (City of Bones, City of Ashes, City of Glass) The Underland Chronicles (geared toward a bit younger crowd but LOVED it) I have read these but found them good, but not as good as above: Uglies/Pretties/Specials Maximum Ride Series The Lightning Thief/Percy Jackson series

there is a brilliant writer named darren shan - he writes vampire sagas and demon sagas. they are absoloutley brilliant. there are 12 books in the vampire saga and 9 or 10 in the demon saga. they are really creative and brilliant. go for them!
