Names of Santa Claus's Raindeer

• Dasher - The first reindeer and the right-hand leader of the sleigh before Rudolph was included. He is the speediest reindeer.
• Dancer - The second reindeer and the left leader before Rudolph was included. She is the graceful reindeer.
• Prancer - The third reindeer and on the right in the second row. He is the most powerful reindeer.
• Vixen - The fourth reindeer and on the left-hand side in the second row. She is beautiful, and also powerful like her companion Prancer.
• Comet - The fifth reindeer and on the right-hand side in the third row. He brings wonder and happiness to children when Santa flies over everyone’s houses.
• Cupid - The sixth reindeer and on the left-hand side in the third row. She brings love and joy to children when Santa flies over everyone’s houses.
• Donder - The seventh reindeer and on the right-hand side in the fourth row. He is the “thunder” reindeer. (Donder’s name is often misspoken as Donner, infact it is spoken wrong so often that most people believe it to be the latter.
• Blitzen - The eighth reindeer and on the left-hand side in the fourth row. She is the “lightning” reindeer, but in American pop culture Blitzen is frequently portrayed as a male (for instance, in the animated Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Blitzen is the coach of the reindeer games).

I enjoyed andreich95’s description of each reindeer, but in nature the cariboo males shed there antlers in the fall so all the reindeer are female

Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen, Comet and Cupid Donner (aka Donder) and Blitzen. And of course Rudolph..but he was not one of the original reindeer but was added becuz of the song Rudolph the red nosed reindeer.

Doner, Dasher, prancer, vixen, comet, cupid,blitzen…..Ruldoph was just an add on lol just remeber there at 7 raindear and 8 included Ruldoph!

You all have forgotten the most important reindeer, “Olive” She is the one that laughed and called Rudolf names.

If you remember the song, Olive the other reindeers, used to laugh and call him names, they never let poor Rudolf join in any reindeer games.

Pretty funny hey, for those humorly challenged, Olive is pronounced, “All of”

rouldolph the red nosed riendeer had avery shiny nose like a light bulb and if you ever saw it you would even say it glose like a light bulb all of the other riendeer riendeer used to lagh and call him names like pinocio they never let poor rouldolph join in any riendeer games like monapoly… then one fogy christmas eve santa came to say pass the musterd rouldolph with your nose so bright wont you guid my sleightonight then all the other riendeer loved him loved him as they shouted out with glee yipee rouldolph rouldolph youll godown in history!!!
