Nails painted black

Ok that’s just plain dumb. There’s nothing wrong with that at all. Painting your nails has become sort of a unisex thing… meaning girls AND guys do it. Black is a great color choice too. That’s what color my nails are!

Your mother is probably concerned with the fact that her son wants to wear nailpolish.

Look around the internet and scope out pictures of straight guys wearing it. Many styles these days do allow for males wearing nailpolish.

You might have to remind your mother that times have changed since she was a teen, and nailpolish (and even makeup) is acceptable for both genders now.

your mother sounds like she wouldnt accept you if you were gay (im not sayinbg that you are) but its probably something she thinks isnt natural, for a guy to wear nailpolish however, in this day and age you can do whatever you want wearing nailpolish, no matter what your gender doesnt make you gay and the colour of that nailpolish doent make it any more gay either gay isnt a colour, a style, a thing, were you put a peircing, ect its a sexual preferance

A lot of punk/emo/goth/and some skaters wear nailpolish. A lot of dudes do it. It’s stylish. Maybe your mum is just worried your wearing it cause it’s nailpolosh. Or she doesn’t know a lot of other dudes do it to.
