My yorkie is pregnant

She has been pregnant for 52 days now and her boobs are getting bigger she is a verry active dog and is her first pregnancy how do I know if she is not going to give birth will she bleed? When should I start to worry?

Don’t worry, mother nature will take over and everything will be fine. She will be pregnant for 9 weeks so you should roughly know when it is going t happen. You will notice her panting, going off her food and digging and raking about trying to find somewhere to have her pups. She will automatically know what to do, mothers instinct will kick in! She will bleed a bit but she will be constantly cleaning up after herself and the pups as they are born. Just be prepared and have your vets number handy just in case, but I am sure it will be fine! I have a litter of 6 pups 2 weeks old now, so just enjoy! Good luck!

She still has about 11 days. The day she refuses to eat and is tearing everything up scratching up an area she wants to birth in that is the day she is going into labor.

Do you have your Emergency Vet’s and your regular Vet’s number handy. I have mine stored on my cell and home phone. You never know if you will need it. (Actually I know my Vet’s number by heart:))

hey, my yorkie just had 5 puppies and she bled but she will lick away everything when the puppies come out
