my turned aggressive

I have a 6yr old pitbull who has always been friendly and social until recently she has started snarling and growling at us to the point it is getting scary why all of a sudden is she becoming agressive she has never been mistreated about 2 months ago she had lumps removed could this have something to do with her sudden change of behaviour HELP please???

I’d be tempted to get a vet to check her out. It may be a medical thing. Apparently some pit bulls do grow into very agressive dogs after some years, though, as they were originally bred as fighting dogs, and this can come though. Good luck!

this can be because of a change in schedule? a new person in your life? a new pet? but what you need to do is show your dog that you are in control. dont be afraid of them growling at you. dogs can sense fear and they will push you and test there limits. you CAN NOT act afraid. show them who is pack leader. its just like the the dog world. a mother repremands her puppies with physical force. not hitting or kicking or whipping but with things such as biting… a submissive positon for a dog is on there back. what is setting off the growling/barking/biting? let me know and I will be able to help you out further
