My rat is sick what can I do?

She is almost three, and she’s been acting strange for the past week, she’s wobbles when she walks, she has a red discharge aroung her eye, little on her nose, and on her feet too, She is eating every now and then but she just angry cause she can’t hold the food cuase she to weak.. And when she is on her hind legs she sways back and fourth. Is the anything I can do, I think she might have a respiatory infection. How much would it be to take her to a vet, would it be worth it?, Or should I let her go naturally??? Please! She’s my little Darling.

You should take her, it would be far more heartbreaking to see her go naturally, and your diagnosis is correct. Respiratory infection it is.

its way worth it to take her to the vet, even to just end her long happy life. my sister has had 4 rats and 2 of them died in her arms, the saddest thing I ever saw. but either they can treat your baby, or they can let her go to ratty heaven and be at peace. as far as I know, it should be around $100 but its more expesive to go as an emergency so make an appointment.

Take Her 2 The Vets! Thats The Best Thing You Could Do And A Pretty Obvious One If Your Pet Is Ill Or Acting Strange
