My rabbits babys

Hi can any one help me my rabbit is putting her bowl on her babys why is she doing that for

Maybe she wants them to be in shelter.

If they’re new babies I think they like them hidden away to begin with. You could try adding more bedding for them to hide in. If you’re really concerned you could take the bowl out and try putting the food on the floor of the hutch for a short while. But be very careful not to disturb the babies if you choose to remove the bowl.

Put hay in their house. Their mom should cover them up with it. If she keeps putting the bowl on them, take it out and switch to a heavier bowl that she can’t move.

She’s making them a den. Go buy one of those plastic igloos for small caged pets at the pet store and she’ll probably use that. Maybe not though- she my prefer the bowl.
