My Question is about woman having a baby at a old age?

Did youll hard of woman geting pregnant,at between the ages off 60 to 80 years old?

Answer #1

If they’re still having their period…then yes, they can, however then the child is at very high risk for down syndrome and other complications. My advice if you really want a child, adopt…please keep in mind that even if you’re 50…there is always a chance that you won’t get to see your child have their own children and life, and possibly not graduate from highschool.

Answer #2

After I believe age 30(maybe), the risk of the baby being born with down syndrome increases. Although it is possible to have a baby at 60, it’s not a smart idea-that’s just common sense though. Didn’t a woman that was like 63 give birth to twins recently(meaning in the past couple years)?

Answer #3

It can happen but it is VERY RARELY that it does, because usually by that time a woman has already reached menopause and then is infertile.

Also it is very dangerous for the woman and the baby at that age.

Answer #4

Usually around the time they hit the 50ies then they stop having their period. Then they can’t get pregant. If they are still getting their period when they are 60, then there is a big risk for health for her and her child.
