My puppy ate through my wall...

I have a golden retriver that is six months old. I crate trained her myself and now for the past month or two I have allowed her to stay in the kitchen and keep her there with a baby gate. Just this week she scratched up and chewed the base molding and this morning I wake up to a hole in my dry wall. She has never done that before. I have no idea what to do. She has plenty of toys to chew on within her reach.

Answer #1

Keep her in the crate, and it sounds like she needs more excericse, you must give this breed lots of activities. If not they will get board and this will be the result.

Answer #2

maybe ther was a mouse or something in the wallspace that she could hear/smell.. haha it’s kinda funny.

Answer #3

She’s just proven she’s not old enough yet to stay out of the crate for any length of time…
