Depending on how long ago you bought it, you can actually return in to Sony and they’ll fix it or replace it under the warranty. It’s usually a year. If it’s under a year old, find the receipt and give Sony a call. If not, you can try taking it to a gaming-type store, they may be able to help or send you to somebody who can. :)
Check gamestop, maybe a video store. They should have the neccesary resouces to help.
give your psp a shake if anything rattles you have a loose board/pin
try wrapping the wire around the psp 3-4 times, it worked for me hope it helps
