My Mother
I’m in this performance thingie and my mother volunteered herself to be a back stage mom. I really dont want her there. It’s not that I dont love her but I mean we get changed back there and I dont want her seeing me. Also we talk about certain stuff that I dont want her hearing. I know that this sounds selfish, but I need help. If I cant get her not to go, the does anybody know how to make it better? Or eaiser?
Just tell her that you appreciate her getting involved with your activities, but you’d also appreciate that she doesn’t give you any special treatment/attention and would like to have your own privacy when changing and talking with friends. I’m sure she’ll understand if you speak to her in a mature and reasonable way.
