My mom, it is like she hates me

Sounds like a tyipical mom, a controlling one! First realize she loves you and wants the best for you. But you need to talk to her, just set the stage tell her you would like to speak with her from you heart. IMPORTANT FROM YOUR HEART! not your head, tell her that you know she loves you and wants the best for you, but you feal like you can learn from making some of your own decisions, which in turns let’s you make your own mistakes and so learn. Don ‘t be emotional, no matter what. Emotions are not your friend, it will undermine your conversation and she might get emotional as well and then off to the fights you go. Just speak the truth in love and respect. If by chance she does not seem to hear you, don’t worry she just needs time to process it. Give her a week or so, if you still see the problem occuring. Then you need to step it up a bit, the first weapon you have is prayer, it does work. I have seen prayer chance people’s hearts time and time again. Pray for God to do whatever it takes in you mom’s life that she would come to hear you and value your opinions. Tell her that you want to have a open and loving relationship, where you can feel free to talk to her about anything and not be critized.
