My friend and the eeoc

Ok: steve decided to file a complaint with the equal employment opportunity commission’s (eeoc) about his ex-boss. So my question is once the eeoc receives steve’s complaint what will the eeoc do? And will this complaint to the eeoc force the company that steve used to work for to do something about this boss?

Steve (a friend of mine) back in december was unjustly fired from his job. Steve’s boss was harassing him and in addition harasses the entire staff. This boss really is a horror show. So right after steve was fired he wrote a detailed letter to the ceo at the corporate headquarters. However, steve knows that the ceo would never get the letter. Steve periodically followed up via emails and phone calls but this boss is still there and still harassing. So today steve went online and decided to get the ceo’s home address and mail the letter to the ceo’s house along with a note explaining why steve was sending the letter to the ceo’s house

Answer #1

What he should of done first was go to the ceo and let them know what was going on. What the EEOC will do is check and see if anyone else has had a prouble with him. What he will say is your friend wasn’t doing his job and thats why he got rid of him. Your friend needs more reports put on the boss. That will help.

Hard to say - you’ll just have to wait for the EEOC and the CEO’s responses…I hope you’re able to get satisfaction !!
