When my dog did that, it was having a stroke… its so scary especially when your home alone and don’t know whats going on! She was making weird noises and lying on the ground, I felt so bad because I didn’t know what to do. But yeah, I would take it to a vet for a professional diagnosis.

yah it depends on the type of dog you have if you have a beagle its really common I have a beagle and she gets a lot of seizures what I do to calm her down is to say your ok and rub the top of her head and do that till she stops

yes dogs can have seiziers and should be taken to a vet it could be epelepsey. Also if it a reaction to food like bread you might have to get a specail diet. What you need to know is if a siezier last for 5 minutes you need to NEED to get to a vet that is an emergancey also I believe it is if she has about 4 siziers in an hour it is also an emergancey. I lucked out my dog was the only one in her litter with out epilepsy I hope this helped

You said that you feed your dog bread? The glucose found in bread could be making your dog have seizures. You should avoid feeding your dog bread for a few days, to see if that is the cause. If your dog is still seizing, it could be something more serious.

haha,no but she just lays there shaks then stops,then makes horrible noises,and shakes more-at first I thought she was cold until she started making noises.but I dunno,ahh, I shall call my mom.

Absolutely…get her to the Vet, and they can diagnose if she might have epilepsy (many dogs do)…The drugs they give them are very inexpensive. They are usually on them for life, but it’s worth it, to keep them seizure free.

yes, I’ve seen TONS!! all 4 of my aunts dogs and my mothers dog… I think they have bad luck with dogs. :(
