My dog will not stop licking herself

Ok my dog is older. She loves her food and my dog is soaking wet from her liking herself she does not have fles. I cheked google nothing came up.

I sounds to me like she’s developed a habit…it probably calms her…If she’s older, I really don’t know how you’ll break the habit…

I had an old Rottie, who’d get to licking in the nite…her paws, her legs, kinda “cleanin’ up for morning”…I’d tell her to leave the room, because I couldn’t sleep…

my dog keeps licking her belly,no cuts but I went to put her to bed and she growled at me,which doesnt happen,cant figure whats wrong.she has always been so loveable.This morning she wont come out and growled at me again.I just left her in her bed.

Yeah maby your dog does have a hidden cut. Or maby she has a rash. Is your dog allergic to anything if so have a vet look her over to make sure. Even if shes not allergic to anything still have a vet look at your dog.

Dogs like themselves when they are hurt. She may have a wound.
