My digicam's rechargeable battery takes a day to recharge and quick

Is there something wrong with my battery?

First I have to recharge it for one or two days and when I use it my digicam beep and turns off! And then I recharge it for one hour and it works and it only last for one day or two!!! Before it last for one week! I use my Digicam to take photos. I rarely use the video.

Oh sorry, wasnt aware your digicam was a year old.

Most cam battery do not last that long thou…my dad has a digital cam and he’s forever replacing a fresh battery when he’s using it…he carries at least 3 batteries in his carry bag :)

I could suggest putting the battery in the freezer for an hour, but I’m not sure how that works with your digicam warranty if the cam plays up.

This is about one year old… I bought my Digicam one year ago along with the rechargeable batteries… All are sold separately

When you first got your digicam, did you charge the battery according to the manual booklet?

For example, if the manual stipulates the first charge is to be 15 hours then you must charge it til the length of time required, otherwise further down the track the battery life isnt as “long lasting”

Sometimes older betteries will take longer to recharge and generally the battery-power will last for a shorter amount of time. How long have you been using this battery?
