My cats milk..

My cat had babies and they were finally old enough to leave so we gave them away but my cats nipples are still filling up with milk and you can tell its very painful for her. Is there anything I can do or give her to ease the pain, get the milk out or prevent anymore milk from forming?

Answer #1

They were 7 weeks old, eating normal food on their own and everything, and there are no kittens left nursing.

Answer #2

Yes, call your Vet’s office. They have dry up meds like Salix is one used for dogs, I am not sure about cats but they do have something for her. You don’t want to to get mastitis.

Answer #3

How old were the kittens when you gave them away?

Answer #4
