Mucus build up?

I have a cold and a sore throat. I have an antibiotic for my throat. But now im getting a lot of mucus in my throat. Its really gross and irratating. Nothing is really helping.if I cough it up well then I start throwing up (this happend twice and its nasty but I dont know what else to do). Any ideas? Thanks in advance

It’s a sign that you’re getting better though. Hot water mixed with honey should help. Sip it slowly.
