The first thing you need to do is change your password and secret question on the email that you use to log into MSN. This means your email, in addition to your actual MSN login password.

After you’ve done that, be sure to run a scan on your computer. Do NOT use Nortons, Nortons is not good software for any kind of malware/spyware/adware. I personally like using Malwarebytes anti-malware. To use the free version, download it here: http://funadvice.com/r/3judfk3jhs (click the blue download button). Before scanning, update the program and the definitions (there’s an update section on the actual program).

After you’ve done that, you need to be sure to be a little more careful. If someone sends you a link, don’t click on it until they’ve told you exactly what it is that you’re clicking. If you don’t understand what they mean, don’t click. When you go in your email, don’t click on ANY links in your ‘spam’ folder. No exceptions, unless it’s from a trusted source (ex: FunAdvice). If someone randomly ads you to MSN, don’t accept unless you know who’s adding you. Also, if you’re trying to log into MSN, be sure that the page is on the actual hotmail site. Some sites make fake MSN pages, in which your login details are yanked from when you try to login there.

In any case, I hope that helps!

Good luck!
