Actually, Mopar is sort for Motor Parts and is the parts and service arm of Chrysler. They do sell some performance parts, crate engines, etc. but they also make the standard OEM parts for Chrysler vehicles.

My dad owns several old Mopar muscle cars, and he works for Chrysler. They were the king of musclecars, and some old Mopars are worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. Original Hemi Cuda and Challenger ragtops have went for millions of dollars at the Barret Jackson auction. About 3-4 years ago a 71 hemi challenger convertible went for 5 million bucks. I saw the car in real life at Chryslers at Carlisle and I took pictures of it.
