Could you clarify? Is your money tree molding or molting? If it is molding then it needs fresh air, a cleaner environment, or possibly a transplant. You risk killing the plant to help combat mold, but the mold will kill the plant if you don’t.
Check all the “strands” in the weave to see if any are already infected. Try to remove anything that the mold is in then transplant to a cleaner pot that will drain properly. Fresh air, mild B-12 supplements, low moisture, and a prayer are the only thing you can do at this point.
My own money tree had a mold from the nursery. I have been crossing my fingers that it will survive.
