When should I re-pot a money tree?

How do I take care of a money tree? Do I need to re-pot it if the root is approx. 90% of the pot? Or is it suppose to be like that so it grows taller instead of wider?

Hi,

Funguy answered this question, and he said that you’ll know when to repot when:

The roots will be nearly as long as the plant. This means it will take up more and more soil until it just can’t anymore then it will stop growing, leaves will turn brown, it won’t be as healthy looking.

So yes, if the root is taking up almost the entire pot, it will eventually not be able to get oxygen to grow. Repotting should help this.
