Money decision.

Does you parents bad credit and other bad money decisions pass down to you when you get older??

Answer #1

No their bad credit doesnt get passed down to you. The only time it may be an issue is if they die in debt and their assests may be seized, and that might be a hassle, but it wont affect your credit score or anything like that…

Answer #2

Learn from their mistakes…seriously.

Don’t fall for the credit card companies that will be ALL over college campuses if/when you go. They prey on stupid people or people that just don’t know any better.

If you don’t have the money for something you want, SAVE for it! Half the time you’ll decide you really didn’t need it anyways.

The poster above is correct by the way. The only time someone else’s credit would affect you is if you got married to someone with bad credit since everything becomes joint.
