How do you do MLA format on Appleworks?

My English teacher is making me write an essay but she wants us to use MLA format. She gave us this tutorial but it is for Microsoft Word. http://funadvice.com/r/3kpkpsf07e Any idea how to do this on Appleworks? Even bits and pieces are appreciated.

are you talking about putting the paper into mla, or having it set right up for mla?

I’m not doing works cited. I need the actual paper in mla format.

alright well thats easy then. since u dont have to do works cited. alright mla, normally is Times new roman with 12 size font. and then double spaced the entire paper, and have 1 inch margins. um i think thats it. anything else just let me no.

it says about the header having your name and the page number.

oh im sorry i forgot about that. alright well in “pages” when u have ur paper up, go to the top of the page, when u move ur cursor around the top ull see the header box come up, click in side it. when ur in side the header box, hit tab. now you should be on the right side of the page. you put ur last name, then space then go insert and click insert the drop down menu will come down and then click page number and that should do it
