Misdemeanor charge & effects on career

My brother just got charged with 2 misdemeanor counts of domestic violence. He is a government lawyer. How will this charge affect his career and life?

He will still be able to work. Clients rarely check the back grounds of their lawyers. He would probably get disbarred with a felony, but he doesn’t have one. He would be wise to channel that energy of whatever is causing the DV charges in a different way. Reading an anger management book (since it was a DV charge, I am assuming that it was anger related), or if the misdemeanor charges are bogus, like mine, he has to find ways to deal with cunniving deceivers. If he is a lawyer, that shouldn’t be a problem because they take classes on learning how to deal with jerks who slap bogus charges on people.
