Military care package?

How long would it take a care package to get to Iraq from the U.S.

and if I wanted it to get there before March 10th 2009 ,when would I need to send the package out?

you should be able to go down to your local post office and get all of the answers you need. I would go with priority shipping- maybe let the postal clerk know it is for a serviceman overseas- it may help in getting it there a little quicker.

your post office should also be able to provide you with free packaging for this.

best advice I can give- talk to the post office, they will get this package there for you. another option of course is to go through the USO(after all that is their job) but FIRST try the post office.

Im Stationed in South korea and when my parents send me stuff it takes anywhere from 9-11 days … and I think Iraq is farther than here … it really just depends if they fly the package over russia or if they go the other way over germany

Answer #3

It depends. You can pay them to send it right away. Like it costs a lot though. I sent my cousin stuff from Canada to Buffolo & I wanted it to get there in 3 days so I had to pay 25 bucks for that.

well I have a dad who is in the military and I sent him a care package like a couple weeks ago. he told me he got it last week so I would probbable say it would get therrei about 5-6 days then again it matters were you are like im in pa so thats how long it took but like if you lived in texas or something farther away it would be longer. hope this helps!!
